BBC Documentary - Electrosensitivity 'happened to me'

The BBC has produced a documentary on electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) that describers the experiences of sufferers and how they cope with the condition.

Fatigue, pain, headaches, dizziness, burning, twitching, nausea, palpitations.

Just some of the symptoms experienced by people who say they suffer from 'electrosensitivity'.

Electrosensitives – who are mostly self-diagnosed - say that electromagnetic fields from mobile phones, wi-fi and other modern technology are making them seriously ill.

Years of well-controlled, double-blind studies have found no evidence that electromagnetic fields cause these symptoms.

The World Health Organisation says electrosensitivity is not a medical diagnosis, and both the WHO and Public Health England say there’s no scientific basis that these symptoms are linked to electromagnetic field exposure.

But, with super-fast 5G mobile technology spreading across the UK, Electrosensitives are getting increasingly worried.

The documentary shows three individuals from the UK with electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS). Each person manages the situation differently and the condition certainly affect their lifestyle. It is interesting to note that even the WHO confirms that EHS "can be a disabling problem" as shown on the documentary.

anti-radiation

Just like any other countries the deployment of more cell towers is on the rise. We could see the cell / mobile towers are placed on higher ground, on top of the office blocks, residential buildings and beside the footpaths.

bluetooth radiation

It is interesting to note that a couple of European countries have been giving grants to EHS sufferers since the 1990s as shown in the documentary and it appears that the UK starts following too.

simple solution

At Radia Smart, time and time again we have heard from our customers who are EHS sufferers that their conditions are quite severe and debilitating. Just like what was shown on the documentary, EHS can really cause social isolation and loneliness. It is very likely too that there are undiagnosed EHS sufferers who is still trying to figure out what is going on to them.

We use technology to connect to others. So what can a person do when the technology causes health issues or symptoms to the users?

This is why we believe it is important to raise the awareness, reduce the use of wireless technologies, measure the EMF around the environment and take precautionary actions if you can.

Hope this helps.

Take care
