How to Test

The radiation shielding materials developed by Radia Smart have been tested at an FCC accredited laboratory. These materials utilize a highly conductive fabric that has been thoroughly evaluated using a signal generator capable of producing radiofrequency (RF) signals up to 18GHz. The results indicate that the shielding effectiveness remains constant above 90% up to 59.3 dB.

To accurately test our product, we recommend using an RF EMF meter measuring high frequency RF in milliwatts (mW/m2). This type of EMF comes from WIFI, cell phones, 5G, Bluetooth, etc. Relying on the cell phone signal alone is unreliable due to its switching between multiple towers and frequency bands (e.g., 5G, 4G, 3G) for connection.
